Lanier Branson Recollections, . 1973

Lanier Branson was a textile manufacturer of West Point, Ga. The collection contains brief recollections of Branson, commenting on the textile industry's migration from New England to the South. The story includes Branson's experiences in Lowell and Lawrenceville, Mass., in 1912, and his firsthand knowledge of the West Point Manufacturing Company's Graniteville, S.C., mills, of which he was president, and the CTX, Consolidated Textile Chain, with which he was associated.
